Senior Associate, Syndicated Lending

About the Role
Are you a driven and detail-orientated finance professional looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a Senior Associate, Syndicate Lending to join our dynamic Wholesale Banking and Financial Markets team. Reporting to the Associate Director/Director of Large Corporate & Syndications, the Senior Associate, Syndicate Lending will be responsible for providing pivotal support to the Associate Director / Director. This includes preparation of credit submissions for new and existing customers and completion of periodic reviews, whilst also liaising with external professional services providers to ensure all documentation and settlements are processed promptly and accurately and performing due diligence. Additionally, this role requires a high attention to detail and a high standard of customer service to generate new business and ensure customer retention.

Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assisting the Associate Director / Director to meet the required financial and non-financial targets including revenue, growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare timely and accurate credit submission processing, effectively managing all service-related activities and ensuring the effective facilitation of settlements and drawdowns.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key customer groups through the delivery of excellent service.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in the Financial Institution industry working on large and complex corporate transactions. You will have previous exposure to syndicated/club style transactions across a variety of industries (including property, health and diversified). You will have experience in new client origination and existing client management, well-honed negotiation and influencing skills and excellent communication skills. Your solid understanding of business banking in Australia and comfort with working across diverse customer groups, will ensure your continued growth and success in this role.
