Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team working on a billion dollar gold plant expansion project.

Your Key Responsibilities

Manage DCS programming subcontracts, scope of works and technical compliance.
Schedule works, including code development, FAT and SAT Testing.
Ensure that DCS development is going according to schedule, is accurate and is technically compliant.
Produce and ensure design/programming complies with applicable legislation, standards, client, third party and project requirements.
Ensure technical compliance
Development (coaching and mentoring) of discipline team members.
Ensure designs and programming are fit for purpose and consider all aspects including, cost, constructability, operability and maintainability.
Proactively provide input into / review project schedules and budgets.

What You ‘Can Do’

Bachelor of Electrical or Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
10+ years’ experience in the mining/mineral processing or oil and gas sector.
Previous experience programming Yokogawa DCS
Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, codes of practice, Functional Safety, and safety in design
Ability to rapidly understand and assimilate project and client specific requirements.
Advanced knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices.
Advanced experience with development of technical engineering documents, drawings, schedules, and models.
Innovative and flexible approach to problem solving, an ability to analyse and resolve complex issues.
Site experience during construction and commissioning preferred.
Proven ability to manage a team of design professionals.
