As a Senior Labor Relations Manager at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining positive labor relations within the organization ( Projects, Services and ISC sites).
You will develop and implement labor and employee relations strategies and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
You will stay closely associated with changing labor laws from time to time and ensure appropriate implementation within Honeywell Pacific regions
You will manage and lead changes in the organization and add value to the team by utilizing your labor relations expertise, by partnering with internal and external stakeholders and by leveraging global processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive positive employee relations strategy in the region (site risk assessments, risk mitigation plans, and proactive planning of site changes)
- Lead and manage Enterprise Bargaining with unions
- Support business transformation like restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions
- Support business growth strategies
- Partner with leadership to ensure full compliance to the new labor reforms covering industrial action, right to organize, health/safety, wages and other social programs. Develop compliance dashboard, risk assessment process and mitigation plans.
- Drive execution and improvements on key LER topics
- Provide support in the implementation of selected LER projects
- Single Point of contact with labor compliance vendor on employees and Contract worker checks
- Partner with legal teams on matters of employment notices, representations in court cases
- Self-audits to ensure complete accuracy and health of different labor legislations
- Support external - internal audits from time to time
- Ensure all compliance requirements are met for all related matters thru Internal/ external connects
- Ensure all labor statutory filings are done in a timely manner by compliance vendors or inhouse
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5 years of HR experience in commercial and/or Manufacturing sites
- Previous experience in Labor and Employee Relations
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or other related field or equivalent experience
