What your day will look like....
In your role as a Senior Medical Officer in Warwick, you'll experience a fulfilling blend of clinical care, collaboration, and community engagement. You will be responsible for reviewing patient cases and strategising with your multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care. You'll provide compassionate treatment to patients in both the emergency department and outpatient settings, addressing their unique needs and fostering trust. As you lead clinical discussions and mentor medical students and staff, you'll create a supportive learning environment that emphasises continuous improvement. Outreach services will connect you with communities like Goondiwindi and Texas, allowing you to extend your impact beyond the hospital walls. Each moment will be an opportunity to engage with patients and colleagues, driving change and enhancing health outcomes in the Warwick area.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $519,951 (L27) comprising salary rates between $336,854 (L13) and $519,951 p.a. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
