DWS is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in multi-cloud projects to join our client on a 12+ month dual stream project of work across Azure, AWS and GCP - including substantial cloud-to-cloud connectivity, and requiring advanced knowledge of the pricing structures and cost optimisation for each cloud platform.

You will have an advanced understanding of the functions of Project Management as well as experience on enterprise multi-cloud enhancement, Fin Ops, and cloud-to-cloud projects.

Type: 12 Month Max-Term, full time
Start: Immediate - max 2 weeks notice
Salary: Up to $200K (inc Super), depending on experience
Location: Melbourne CBD / inner suburbs
Style: Hybrid, ~3 days week on-site

Required Skills & Experience:

• Broad, extensive, enterprise scale Senior Project Management experience for major multi-cloud projects (AWS + Azure + GCP)
• Business Case Development: Proven experience in developing business cases that support investment decisions.
• Cloud Fin Ops Experience: Implementing Fin Ops frameworks and optimising cloud costs in a multi-cloud environment.
• Senior Project Management Expertise: Proven track record in managing complex projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• PMI PMP certification or other similar agile PM qualification
• Financial Acumen: Strong grasp of financial principles, with experience in managing forecasting and variances.
• Cloud Technologies Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their cost structures.
• Governance and Quality: Experience in providing quality updates and reporting to GMs and leadership.
• Networking Knowledge: Understanding of cloud-to-cloud networking concepts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work across multiple teams, integrating insights from IT, finance, and operations to drive project success.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders across IT, finance, and business units.
• Strong Collaborator: Skilled in managing resistance and facilitating change within organizations to support project goals.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
