About the role:
The Senior Procurement Specialist is a leader of the function, responsible for influencing relationships with all levels of the organisation to support and drive value focused outcomes. This is achieved by supporting key procurement objectives and ensure a streamlined procurement and contract function with high levels of compliance, efficient and cost-effective purchasing and oversight of a well governed procurement systems that mitigate risk. The role provides guidance and advice to the organisation and act and support the Strategic Procurement Manager to educate and engage the procurement network to create value with integrity.

Salary: $116,995.60 - $123,944.18 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
About YOU!
To be the successful applicant, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Significant experience in a complex procurement environment preferably from a government environment with Tertiary and / or post graduate qualification.
- Extensive experience in partnering with multiple diverse stakeholders at senior levels and build partnerships, relations and influence change.
- Significant knowledge of statutory and legal requirements in authoring contracts and contract administration.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the tender process including leading evaluation panels in a complex tender.
- Well-developed analytical skills and the capacity to implement system change and produce informative reports.
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to prepare procurement and technical documents.
