ABOUT THE ROLE

Assist the Project Manager in the safe, coordinated and successful delivery of one or more projects to achieve project financial targets, in accordance with The ADCO Way. Manage engineering team as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to production of the documents and plans that govern the project delivery, ensuring that plans are in line with project, business and legislative requirements
• Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure the project engineering team is adequately resourced with personnel of appropriate competency to deliver the project plans
• Coordinate and communicate with the extended project team to achieve project goals
• Foster positive relationships with client, subcontractors, consultants and other 3rd parties
• Chair, attend and record meetings and forums necessary to achieve the delivery of the project
• Facilitate the development of junior staff
• Contribute to tenders as required and support the state management team in the development of new business
• Provide feedback on staff performance to Construction Managers for staff reviews

ABOUT YOU

• Degree qualified in Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent
• Previous experience working as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer for a head contractor
• Proven industry experience on $40m+ new build projects
• Previous experience managing sub-contractors with programming, supervision and contracts administration
