Senior Research Associate (Aboriginal Youth Health)

Employment Type: Part - time (21 hours a week)
Duration: 2-Year Fixed Term
Remuneration: $123,620 base prorated (+17% super and leave loading)
Location/Travel: Based at Kensington, Sydney but the role will require some travel within NSW and will require a current Full NSW drivers’ licence.

This researcher will be is expected to carry out research in the field Aboriginal youth health, contributing to the conduct of the Next Generation Cohort Study.

Who you are:

A Ph D in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
Demonstrated track record in working collaboratively and respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people both in community and health care settings.
A track record of significant involvement with the profession and/or industry.
High level communication skills and ability to network effectively and interact with a diverse range of students and staff.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships.
Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
Full NSW driver licence and ability to travel regularly.
