Our busy and fast paced kitchen is looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Post Office Hotel, Forbes.
As the Senior Sous Chef, you will be assisting our Head Chef in the everyday organisation of the kitchen.
You must have great time management skills, be able to work under pressure and a good attention to detail/presentation skills.
Your responsibilities with be:
· Assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals according to Menu
· Ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
· Supporting other kitchen staffs in daily tasks
· Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
· Assisting in menu planning and development
· Communicating effectively with kitchen team members and management
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen environment
- A passion for food and culinary creativity
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Qualifications/Experience

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
• Diploma of Hospitality major in commercial cookery
• Excellent presentation & exceptional
• Competencies (Knowledge, skills, behaviours)
• Working rights required for this role
• Expected salary: $78,000 - $88,000 per year
