The role you could play

The Senior Support Worker would be responsible for ensuring high quality service delivery is practice and maintained, while also contributing to fostering a positive culture through effective leadership, modelling and mentoring support workers and students on placement.

Key responsibilities

Model and teach professional, effective client interactions and care throughout individual treatment episodes; encompassing assessments, monitoring, harm minimisation, discretion, identification of risks, and co morbidities
Keep up to date with AOD trends and be cognizant of TSA policies and procedures relevant to service delivery
Ensure all workers have training on how to accurately undertake all administrative tasks; maintaining client records, case notes, entering data, documenting, following up critical incidents, and recording CCTV footage accurately and in a timely fashion
Foster a collaborative approach to service delivery and continuous improvement within the team, by encouraging clear communication, providing regular supervision, training, and feedback promoting professional development and reflective practices leading to improved client

This is a casual position, located in Adelaide, SA. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Level 4 Award.

The ideal candidate would have

Minimum Certificate IV in Community Services AOD or equivalent
Demonstrated relevant experience, knowledge, and skills
Current SA Drivers Licence highly desirable
Working With Children Check
Current Accredited Comprehensive First Aid and CPR certificate
