Our state-of-the-art flour mill in the central western, New South Wales town of Manildra is the largest in Australia and grinds wheats to produce a full range of flours for domestic and export markets.
To ensure the continued production of our high-quality products and to meet customer demands, we are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced people to join the team as a Shift Miller in our 24/7 operation.
The duties of the Shift Miller will include but are not limited to.
· Operation and monitoring of flour milling equipment
· Ensuring product specifications and customer requirements are strictly met
· Adherence to health and safety process and requirements to ensure safe production and operation
· Reporting efficiencies, extractions, down time, and other reports as required
· Maintaining strict quality processes including CCP checks and completion of relevant documentation
· Break releases
· Fault-finding and rectification
The successful applicant will have.
· A relevant qualification in Flour Milling
· Demonstrated experience in a similar position
· Substantial knowledge of and a strong commitment to WHS, HACCP, quality assurance and continuous improvement processes
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong computer literacy
· Highly developed and demonstrated problem-solving ability and the capacity to fault find
· Ability to develop relationships with a range of stakeholders
· Ability to work shift work on a rotating roster
The position is a full time, permanent opportunity which operates on a rotating roster of 12-hour shifts. The position attracts an hourly rate of $41.07 per hour and shift allowance.
