Solution Architect

The successful candidate will ensure system requirements are sufficiently captured to drive the architecting of a solution that fully meets the needs and expectations of system stakeholders.

Role responsibilities:

Identify and assess the implications of applicable Queensland Health, whole-of-government and industry related policies, standards that impact clinical systems such as Enterprise Discharge Summary and The Viewer and ensure these are appropriately reflected in the solution architecture
Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary Dev Ops team through the design, creation, and delivery of complex business and enterprise solutions.
Consult, negotiate and communicate with system stakeholders and ICT professionals to promote shared and consistent understanding and acceptance of the proposed solution
Provide expert advice and communicate solution alternatives, architectural risks, issues and resulting implications

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under 'Key Responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

Proven expertise in the development of solution architectures for complex systems inclusive of all architectural domains and ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both internal and external stakeholders (SFIA: ARCH - Solutions Architecture Level 6)
Proven expertise in applying solution architecture principles, practices and processes within enterprise architecture, ICT investment and governance frameworks
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities to identify, analyse and resolve technology challenges in response to business and ICT requirements
