Five for Change Pty Ltd, trading as Synergy Learning and Therapy, established in 2005 is a leader in the north Brisbane area for providing multi-disciplinary allied health therapy. We have a great relationship with providers in the area but we also have a strong team to help you provide holistic service delivery to your clients. We currently offer adult and paediatric clients Psychology, Education Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy / Psychotherapy and Early Learning support / emotional regulation with our younger learners.
We are a niche specialised clinic where the multiple support needs of our clients are paramount. We also appreciate our staff and our schedule for the right applicant will include a healthy mix of Client direct hours allied to a generous client-indirect / planning and administration time, including the potential of working from home with some telehealth clients and administration.

• While our head office is located in Caboolture, North Brisbane, for the in-clinic practitioner, we would prefer 3 days per week (potentially to include alternate Saturdays at penalty rates) in the office with administration time from home. Similar options are available for the remote practitioner in terms of 'office hours' and administration time.

Your Role
As the Speech Language Pathologist, you will encounter the full range of client needs and you will:

• Provide assessments, diagnostic reports and quality, tailored therapy programs to optimise learning and life options for all clients.
• Work with a very diverse caseload which includes NDIS, private and Medicare clients; we are one of very few clinics which provide bulkbill services.
• Manage your own caseload and schedule to suit your lifestyle.

• Registration with SPEECH PATHOLOGY AUSTRALIA Mandatory)
• Enjoy working as part of a strong allied health team who provide quality programs for our clients
• Be inquiring, have a great sense of humour and flexible in your approach.
• Have experience working with paediatric and adult clients with diverse needs
• Enjoy working autonomously: while we have a Senior Therapist to support your professional needs, we do not have a Senior Speech Pathologist. We provide limited annual external supervision subsidy if required.
• Have strong interpersonal, communication and liaison skills to work with a range of stakeholders
• You hold or are willing to obtain a current Working With Children Check and a NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to commencing.
• For the in-clinic Speech Pathologist, you are within commuting distance of Caboolture and able to get to the job without stress on the freeway! For the telehealth Speech Pathologist, wherever you live, our timezone for clients is BRISBANE!

• Behaviour Support Practitioner status would be a bonus.
