Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, progress, and goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapy and interventions for both paediatric and adult patients.
- Collaborate closely with referring doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Offer education and support to families and caregivers, providing guidance on managing speech and language challenges.
- Maintain detailed patient records, ensuring all documentation is up to date and compliant with privacy and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in regular team meetings and case discussions, offering insights and contributing to the holistic care of patients.
- Stay current with advancements in speech pathology practice and relevant medical conditions by engaging in professional development and training.
- Doctor Referrals: Direct access to a steady stream of referrals from the Medical Hub's GP network and specialists, allowing for a consistent patient caseload.

- A degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Full registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Minimum of 1 years’ clinical experience in speech pathology, with a broad range of experience in paediatric and adult care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- A strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $29.87 – $133.68 per hour
Expected hours: 4 per week
