About the Role

• The position will support the strategic direction and ongoing development of MSAMHS and to contribute to the overall development and quality of services.
• The position provides direct psychiatric clinical services to patients of MSAMHS and will lead a multi-disciplinary team in delivering high quality clinical care to patients within MSAMHS.
• To provide a collaborative working relationship with psychiatrists of all adult services as well as the Executive Director of Clinical Services; Director of Allied Health & Therapies; Director of Nursing; Directors of Clinical and Corporate Governance; and Director of Recovery and Social Inclusion. This collaboration will ensure provision of evidence informed addiction and mental health care while promoting budget integrity.
• The position also provides direct psychiatric clinical services to patients of the Adult Psychiatric Services within the mental health service and supervision to medical officers and RANCZP trainees.
• It is expected the position provides psychiatric clinical services out of business hours to the advertised locations.

It is expected that the position will support the Clinical Directors and Division Directors of Academic Clinical Units: Division of Adult Mental Health Services, Older Persons, CYMHS, and Rehabilitation
