About the Role
- The position will support the strategic direction and ongoing development of MSAMHS and to contribute to the overall development and quality of services.
- The position provides direct psychiatric clinical services to patients of MSAMHS and will lead a multi-disciplinary team in delivering high quality clinical care to patients within MSAMHS.
- To provide a collaborative working relationship with psychiatrists of all adult services as well as the Executive Director of Clinical Services; Director of Allied Health & Therapies; Director of Nursing; Directors of Clinical and Corporate Governance; and Director of Recovery and Social Inclusion. This collaboration will ensure provision of evidence informed addiction and mental health care while promoting budget integrity.
- The position also provides direct psychiatric clinical services to patients of the Adult Psychiatric Services within the mental health service and supervision to medical officers and RANCZP trainees.
- It is expected the position provides psychiatric clinical services out of business hours to the advertised locations.
