Supply Officer

What you will be doing…
The Supply team is responsible for managing Virgin Australia aircraft inventory to support all maintenance requirements in the timeliest and cost-effective manner.
As a Supply Officer you will maintain availability of reliable, compliant inventory, cost effectively throughout the Virgin Australia Airline Group networks to avoid disruption of operational and maintenance activities.
You will…

• Process orders, quotes, and correspondence in relation to Aircraft consumable and repairable parts
• Ensure all inventory is procured or repaired in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements in the most cost-effective manner
• Raise Reports for all significant events that may have safety, quality or compliance implications.
• Partner and collaborate with Aircraft Engineering and Stores teams
• Assist in the ongoing optimisation of the inventory plan

What you need to be successful:

• Demonstrated experience in Supply chain and procurement
• Experience in purchasing and cataloguing within Aircraft or heavy equipment
• Ability to partner and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Naturally has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in adhering to compliance
• Proven ability to assess scenarios and plan outcomes in the most effective manner
• Ideally having knowledge of the CASR Part 42 Continuing Airworthiness Regulation however not mandatory
