About the role
The Team Lead MC-55A/MQ-4C Supply Chain role is responsible for the performance and service delivery of the Airbus Operations, Material Support & Logistics (MS&L) Supply Chain team. As the focal point for all MS&L activities required to meet service and tactical delivery, you will exercise your extensive communication, team building and problem-solving skills to achieve platform steward outcomes with a best for weapon system/best for customer mindset.
Reporting to the MC-55A/MQ-4C Service Delivery Manager, you will lead a team of inventory controllers and warehouse personnel where your primary function is to ensure their services are delivered with the appropriate rigor to implement and maintain the MC-55A/MQ-4C Supply Chain satisfying customer and contractual performance requirements. You will develop and maintain cooperative team behaviours with a view to strategic delivery of cost-effective supply support services through to planned withdrawal date.

Specifically, you will:

• Manage the CP Breakdown Spares and Repairable Item Supply Chain.
• Manage the non-CP Breakdown Spares and Repairable Item Supply Chain
• Provision of non-CP procurement services
• Budget and Performance Management, manage assigned Commonwealth funds within TMS
• Manage Supply Chain aspects of Performance Framework
• Manage CP/ADF Supply Chain interfaces, policies and procedures;
• Actively participate in the IPT Joint Management Team and manage the following:
• CP relationship
• 42WG relationship
• Plan and manage resources, interdependencies, and competencies to meet demand forecasts from the Program

About you
To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to develop highly effective stakeholder relationships, demonstrate strong leadership skills to lead a united team, empower and enable the team to deliver on their accountabilities and be a voice for the MS&L team.

The qualifications and experience best suited to this role:

• Tertiary qualification in Supply chain, logistics, engineering or similar
• Extensive experience in the management of staff and leadership of High Performing teams
• Ability to influence and contribute to the development of the service delivery strategy
• In depth understanding and exposure to Inventory and logistics processes applicable to a Defence environment
• Understanding of the regulatory compliance requirements of the Aviation industry (e.g., DASR, CASA, EASA, NZCAA, FAA, ITAR, export and import controls) - specifically how they pertain and are applied to spares and supply chain management
• Relevant Defence training in Supply or Aviation trade groups
