Disability Support Worker
Duties and responsibilities may include:

• Social support/transportation: Community participation, social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
• Supporting clients with light domestic and personal assistance
• Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress
• Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
• Knowledge and experience with epilepsy desirable
• Behaviour Support Plan implementation

Desirable (but not essential):

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services

Must have:

• Current CPR / First Aid
• Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
• willingness to obtain NDIS workers screening check
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (Comprehensive insurance preferred). Reimbursement for car usage applied.
• Smartphone with internet access
• Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination
• positive attitude
• Unrestricted availability
