As an A05 Treasury Analyst, you will play a vital role in analysing and evaluating financial data, providing valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making.

In this role, you will:
Work collaboratively with Queensland Government agencies and GOCs and help build strong working relationships. Provide high level advice, analysis and guidance to Treasury senior management, other agencies, and ministers on GOC-related issues including:
− financial and non-financial performance
− governance
− investment decision making
− pricing
− regulation
− business development opportunities.
Apply commercial and/or relevant policy and governance frameworks in providing advice, ensuring alignment with government priorities and objectives and supporting the delivery of innovative and workable solutions to minimise risk exposure and maximise opportunities for Queensland. Build and foster constructive relationships within Treasury, other departments and GOCs to leverage Treasury's influence in the development and provision of policy advice.
Exercise sound judgement, authority and influence to effectively coordinate the management of client requirements and competing work unit priorities. Assist with GPG's input into the State Budget process, including the Mid-Year Review and preparation of publications and presentations. Represent Treasury at meetings, committees and interdepartmental working groups. Prepare reports, Cabinet and Parliamentary material, submissions, briefing notes, presentations and correspondence.
