• Carry out personal risk assessment, hazard identification and other safety requirements relevant to the role
• Work to “Best Practice” techniques to ensure that equipment is maintained to a high safety, productive and reliable standard

• Trade qualifications and Queensland Electrical Licence
• Minimum of 3 years in underground coal mining
• Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Areas (EEHA) competencies
• HV switching competency (would be advantageous)
• Ability to work effectively in a team, coupled with strong communication skills
• Operation of underground equipment as required.
