Van Driver
FULL TIME

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Van Driver (Freight Officer) to join our team at Centurion Transport. Based at our new depot in Mackay, you will be responsible for pickups and deliveries, to and from local mine sites. This will contribute to the smooth running of our operations and make a real impact on our business. Tasks & Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading of general freight
- Pick and Delivery
- Carrying out vehicle pre-start checks
- Ensure freight is loaded in time to meet scheduled delivery
- Make sure connotes are completed correctly
- Guarantee all scanning is accurate and completed
- Check all freight loaded matches the paperwork
- Safe driving record and commitment to creating a safe work environment
- C Drivers Licence
- Local knowledge of Mackay
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Good time management skills
- Ability to take direction from management and supervisors
- Customer service and communication skills
- Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and RIPPA values
- Immediate Start Available
- Various shift times available for the right candidate - overtime available
- Permanent Full-time
- Attractive allowances and penalties on top of base rate
- All PPE and uniforms provided, including steel cap boots
