About the Venue:
JB Alliance Group is expanding, and we’re searching for a Venue Manager to lead our flagship venue, River Quay Fish | Southbank. River Quay Fish is a popular waterfront bar, seafood restaurant, and function venue open 7 days a week. We offer a lively mix of lunch and dinner services, weekend breakfast, picnic hampers and takeaway. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re famous for group dining and set menu events, especially during holidays, making us a top choice for Christmas parties, Riverfire, Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, and more, with events that often sell out in advance.

About the Role:
As our Venue Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of the venue, including stock management, staffing, training, venue presentation, and menu development. You’ll collaborate with the directors to ensure smooth operations and uphold our high standards of service and reputation. We value proactive leaders who are hands-on and can inspire their team to deliver excellence.
What We’re Looking For:

• Proven success in hospitality management, especially in fast-paced, premium settings
• Outstanding customer service skills and a professional demeanor
• Ability to monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) like labor, food and beverage costs, and customer satisfaction
• Experience in menu planning, special event coordination, and maintaining health regulations
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
• Above all else, you must be able to manage people and systems efficiently.
