Vineyard Hand - General Vineyard Maintenance

GEM Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Vineyard Hand located near the Perth region, WA. This position is a long-term opportunity to work with a reputable, family-owned vineyard.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Vineyard Hand to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a broad range of experience in vineyard operations and a passion for maintaining high-quality produce. You will be responsible for performing various vineyard maintenance tasks, including pruning, trellising, harvesting, and general upkeep of the vineyard.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Perform regular vineyard maintenance tasks, ensuring the health and growth of vines.
• Assist with seasonal activities such as pruning, canopy management, and grape harvesting.
• Undertake trellising and irrigation system checks to support optimal vine growth.
• General tidying duties, ensuring the vineyard and surrounding areas are well-maintained.
• Basic repair work, including fixing minor issues with tools, equipment, or vineyard structures.

To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following:

• Proven experience working in a vineyard or agricultural setting.
• Ability to handle a wide variety of vineyard tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in an outdoor environment.
• Basic knowledge of vineyard operations, such as pruning, harvesting, and maintenance of vines.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
• Reference contact details of two past employers.
• Based already in Perth, WA.
• Have the right to work in Australia.
