Pet Universe Veterinary Centre has now expanded into the field of canine rehabilitation & regenerative medicine. Dr Chris Lee, Principal Veterinarian & Owner is now a qualified Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (studied at University of Tennessee, USA & internship at Veterinary Orthopaedic Sports Medicine in Maryland, USA).With an increasingly complex surgical & rehabilitation caseload as well as our unique feline -only entrance, reception , consult room & ward, we provide a very stimulating work environment.

What Does The Role Entail?
* Help out with any reception, animal care & cleaning tasks that the team rquires including post-theatre clean up
* Meeting & greeting clients and their pets at the check-in
* Having correct COVID digital forms signed for consults and procedure
* Taking the pet through to the consult room and assisting the vet with restraint
* Calling the client into the consult once the examination is complete
* Make bookings & check that appropriate revisit appointments are made
* Be available Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4pm onwards for a minimum 3-hour shifts

What Experience & Talents Do I Need To Apply?
* Good animal handling skills
* Ideally animal care certificate / previous experience in pet or vet industry
* Good standard of spoken and written English and computer literate
* A minimum of 1 years of service industry experience
* Good time management, prioritisation and self-motivation skills
* Good communicator & team player that can develop & maintain a good rapport
* Must love animals
* Most importantly a positive attitude
