Veterinary Receptionist

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Veterinary Receptionist who can bring both industry insight and excellent customer service to our clinic. You’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring a welcoming experience while efficiently managing administrative tasks. If you understand the ins and outs of a veterinary clinic and thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment, we’d love to have you on our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and manage check-ins, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and provide basic pet care advice
- Handle billing, payments, and other administrative duties efficiently
- Coordinate with veterinary staff to streamline clinic operations and patient care
- Prior experience as a receptionist in a veterinary or medical environment
- Familiarity with veterinary terms, procedures, and client care standards
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Passion for animals and creating positive experiences for clients

Pay: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
