About the Winery: Kayena Winery is in Tasmania, north of Launceston in the renowned Tamar Valley and is a leading producer of quality cool climate Tasmanian wines. The winery draws grapes from a wide range of sites throughout Tasmania, processing approximately 3,000 tonnes annually.

About the Role: During our annual vintage period, we require fit, healthy and enthusiastic individuals to work in our winery for a period of up to 8 - 10 weeks (depending upon the length of the season). If successful, there is an expectation that you will make yourself available for the whole of this period.

Duties will include working with pumps and machinery plus a range of other winery duties. No winery experience required as on-the-job training will be provided.

Skills and Experiences:
What's Required: Experience working the pumps and other winery equipment will be an advantage. Good physical health is essential, as much of the work is physically demanding, requiring and excellent level of fitness. A mechanical aptitude, good hygiene, housekeeping and safety is also essential. There is a requirement to perform forklift duties (you won't be driving a forklift for the entire shift). Preference will be given to applicants who possess an Australian License to Perform High Risk Work (forklift license) and have at least 12 months forklift driving experience.

Successful candidates will be required to work shift work and be available to work weekends. Penalty rates will apply.

International applicants must possess a current visa until at least May 2025.
