Position: Wok Chef
About Us: We are an exciting new restaurant opening soon in Chatswood, specializing in a unique fusion of Chinese cuisine and Korean flavors. We are looking for a talented and passionate Wok Chef to join our team and help us deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using the wok, including both traditional and fusion recipes.
• Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create and refine menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Wok Chef or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese and Korean cooking techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
• Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new flavors and dishes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $73,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 – 50 per week
