The Innovation Project Managers, research team, and many other stakeholders at Borealis are working together to make those innovations a reality. As one of them is successfully advancing their career within Borealis, we are now looking for you to join the team to lead various Innovation Projects in the Polyolefin, Hydrocarbons or Catalyst areas, as well as in the strategically important field of Circular Economy.

YOU WILL:

Define the project scope and objectives together with the project owner and support to prepare a business case
Be responsible to deliver the project scope within time and budget
Plan and track the project within constraints such as time, cost and quality standards
Manage risks and actively follow-up in projects, including implementation of mitigation actions
Collaborate with various stakeholders within Borealis as well as external partners including facilitation of team and stakeholder meetings
Work directly with the team members, motivate them, give them feedback, direction, vision, and make sure that the project is staffed and skilled appropriately
Understand needs and types of agreements/contracts with external partners and setup and negotiate if needed

About you

We are looking for a people-oriented individual with technical background in a field related to Borealis' business, such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science/Engineering or similar.

If you have prior experience as a project manager and already possess a PMI certification, it would be a bonus. However, as a commercial focus is crucial for this role, we are also eager to meet you, if your professional experience stems from a commercial / customer-centric role in Sales, Marketing or Innovation Management. You should be interested in obtaining a PMI certification with our support.

Your success in this role will largely depend on your ability to handle a variety of topics, guide and lead people, and your strong drive to succeed. You are excellent in communication, presentations, have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, and good facilitation and coaching skills. You will be working in an international and diverse team and environment where good teamwork and cooperation are key factors in your work.

We offer competitive compensation based on the collective labor agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 77.543,90 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and a yearly bonus.
