The Impact You’ll Make

What You’ll Do

• Support engineers or group projects on daily tasks like request at other departments, aligning on open questions or cooperative work with the production
• Active and daily communication with external and internal stakeholders
• Support engineers by building up real life tests stand and working through experiments with them
• Gain experience in 3D design and 2D drafting by working out your own designs from concept to a complete assembly
• Get assigned small projects to work trough including design work, ordering of assemblies, building them up and testing them
• Creation of assembly documentation and OEM documentation
• Master data maintenance in the PDM system
• internship period of 6 month to 1 year

Who We’re Looking For

Commercial or technical background (e.g. HAK, HTL, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding simple mechanics and physics
• Awareness of engineering work are an advantage
• Strong communication skills and solution-oriented thinking
• German and English language skills
• MS Office knowledge

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Employment in Austria

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise, education, and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
