WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Looking for an opportunity to learn, improve, face challenges, and become an integral part of the Design & Marketing team of a fast-growing startup? As a graphic designer at Journi, you’ll be working mainly within our CRM (customer relationship management) team. Your designs will appear in Journi’s email newsletters, mobile apps, and website for all of our 5+ million users!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Work full time (38.5 h/w) and learn from a passionate, motivated and international team with a start-up spirit
  
• Be an integral part of our marketing and design team
  
• Be involved in photoshoots
  
• Create digital assets for our email and push marketing campaigns, mobile apps, website, social media and sometimes also print designs like flyers, packaging and more
  
• Design photo book “themes”, that our users can apply on their Journi products
  
• Work closely with other Journi designers to ensure visual consistency across all outgoing graphic materials and stay true to the Journi brand
  
• Generate ideas, inspire your teammates, give and receive feedback
  

YOUR BAG OF TRICKS

• High proficiency in graphic design, branding & photo editing: Figma and Adobe Suite
  
• Proven track record of various design projects and a portfolio that shows this (an application without a portfolio will not be considered)
  
• Ability to quickly sketch an idea
  
• At least 1 year experience in creating marketing-driven, digital designs
  
• An eye for detail, composition, and typography
  
• You work efficiently & collaboratively
  
• You are constantly learning, asking for feedback, self-motivated and hungry to succeed
  
• Passion for (mobile) technology with a strong interest in photo/blogging apps
  
• You’re an EU citizen or have a working visa for Austria (unfortunately we aren’t able to support non-EU citizens for this position)
  
• You are able to relocate to or are based in Vienna - the world’s most liveable city!
  

NICE TO HAVE

• You have experience with project management tools such as Asana
  
• Experience with Asset management systems such as Lingo
  
• Photography skills
  
• Interest in pushing the visual side of our social media channels
