This position reports to

Head of Lean Production

Your role and responsibilities

In this position you will be part of the Lean Production area at B&R. • You will support the teams within the Operations organization on our Lean journey to achieve the common goals. The focus is on internal and external customer benefits and the development of a B&R Production System. • You (co-)moderate lean workshops for productivity increases together with the process owners • You impart lean method competence and develop lean champions • You find bottlenecks in the processes & uncover waste, process instabilities & process gaps • You further develop the department's internal processes and build a knowledge platform

Qualifications for the role

• Relevant professional experience in lean management and/or process management (> 3 years)
• Successfully completed technical studies (e.g. industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or production technology) or a comparable qualification
• Confident knowledge in the implementation and training of lean methods (e.g. Kanban, SMED, Andon, 5S, Process Analytics)
• Additional Lean Management / Lean Six Sigma certification or Lean Consulting experience an advantage
• Expert knowledge of Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement in production, logistics & planning areas
• Service-oriented, analytical and implementation-oriented way of working
• Communicative, team-oriented and assertive personality
• Knowledge of moderation and creativity techniques as well as presentation skills
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• ARIS, SAP and Microsoft Share Point knowledge an advantage
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
