National Operations Director

Job duties include: Daily Communication with the Headquarter in Austria; Overseeing the finances with the company’s financial accounting system; Leading IT projects and being the main link between US IT department and the Global Head of IT based in Austria; Being the main contact person on requests regarding the company wide unique ERP system with functions; Main connection between Jerich USA and clients from German speaking regions; Main connection between Jerich USA Inc and the Austrian Federal Trade Commission in the United States; Translation of important documents and information from German to English and vice versa; Weekly Communication with CEO, COO, CFO, Accounting, IT; Prepare an acquisition plan and engage in substantive conversations with potential partners; Determine, suggest and get internal approvals for potential business targets acquisitions; Initiate regional efforts to close regional partnership opportunities; Draft written materials on investment and partnership opportunities; Assist strategic and business development initiatives on joint ventures and strategic partnerships; Coordinate with external parties to support due diligence levels and market research; Engage in due diligence and transaction implementation from initial assessment to close; Organize, manage and complete due diligence reports; and Maintain critical business databases for development activity. Requires ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 20-40%.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree (3- or 4-year degree acceptable) or its equivalent in Business Administration or related field plus 2 years of experience in a leadership role in Warehousing and Transportation Business.

Must have: Proven knowledge of Port Drayage, INCO-Terms and Customs Clearance processes; Proven knowledge of domestic and import logistics, warehousing, trucking and related safety standards; Demonstrated experience in e-commerce and e-fulfillment; Demonstrated experience in handling paper and forest products; Proven knowledge of all supply chain products – Origin, Freight, DC, Transport, Visibility Systems, and good working knowledge of Contract Logistics (DC and Transport) operations. (Unless otherwise indicated, employer is seeking the ability in the skills listed above with no specific number of years of experience required. All experience can be gained concurrently.)
