Payroll Trainee

The Role
The Payroll Trainee will report directly to our General Manager Administration and is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive individual to build their career in the dynamic aviation industry.
The successful candidate will be trained in a broad range of areas of the business such as;
- Working closely to support Management with admin & payroll tasks.
- Payroll tasks including (but not limited to) update & cross-check payroll inputs, prepare inputs for monthly payroll, support between HR & Payroll, identify & resolve discrepancies.
- Liaise with various departments, to collate payroll inputs.
- Test new payroll & system set ups
- Prepare pay files with fixed and variable calculations.
- Prepare bulk uploads to payroll systems.
- Assist with internal controls and procedures, including (but not limited to) documentation and Payroll Advice Forms (PAFs).
- Liaise with external payroll providers.
- You must hold the right to work & live in the EU.
- Excellent English verbal and written. communication skills (C1+ or native speaker).
- Other languages are not required however are a benefit.
- Strong organisational & interpersonal skills.
- No previous experience is required, and a training syllabus will be provided.
- An efficient and methodical work ethic – accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to maintain organisation while effectively managing multiple tasks.
- The ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of professionalism and ability to handle highly confidential information.
- PC Skills (SAP, Word, and must have advanced skills with Excel).
- And finally, you must be a team player with a good sense of humour!
