Your role and responsibilities

B&R drive technology integrates seamlessly into your automation system and, together with the controller, visualization, safety technology and communication, forms a complete system solution for machines and systems. In the development of B&R drive technology, we not only deal with technical problems of electrical control technology, optimization problems, dynamics, modeling, safety technology, parallel processing or real-time communication, but also set the necessary framework conditions such as agile procedures, distributed development, flat structures and a high level of personal responsibility. Our innovations in the areas of visualization, robotics and mechatronics are groundbreaking. B&R's extraordinary solutions in drive technology (e.g. ACOPOStrak, ACOPOS 6D) open up unimagined perspectives in machine and plant engineering. Your Responsibilities: • Development of test concepts and guidelines for our drive technology products • Definition of test environments • Creation of test specifications • Setting up and programming the test and test setups • Independent organization and execution of tests from the prototype phase to compliance tests • Close cooperation with the certification department and external test centers • Documentation of the test results • Knowledge transfer within the department

Qualifications for the role

• Sound technical education (Apprenticeship, FH, HTL) in the field of electronics / electrical engineering or similar
• Experience in product testing and creating test setups is an advantage
• Knowledge of programming in high-level languages such as ANSI C or structured text
• Structured, careful and independent way of working
• Ability to work in a team and cross-divisional thinking
• Basic knowledge of relevant standards and quality guidelines
