Senior Data Analyst

As part of our Data team, you will:
- Create, develop and optimize analysis and data queries focusing on technical product data such as GPS, GSM/LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, battery performance and similar data
- Create detailed reports and dashboards providing insights into technical performance of our products
- Analyze results, recommend actions and provide support to company-wide decisions
- Prepare and clean up data as well as build data models to create the basis for data evaluation and analysis
- Develop specialized tools and processes for monitoring of GPS accuracy, connectivity strength and similar technical metrics
- Work in a data-driven, innovative company and take ownership of one-off projects that use data to spark success

- Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level
Key requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., My SQL, Postgre SQL, Amazon Redshift)
- Experience with visualization tools and methods (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, Looker)
- Strong proficiency in data modeling, data structures, and experience working with high data volumes
- Good understanding of data quality measures
- Python experience is a plus
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, demonstrating leadership potential and readiness to grow into a team lead role
- Very good English skills
- Strong analytical thinker with a passion for data and analysis
- Independent and well-structured work ethic
- A relentless problem solver
- Excited to work in Austria alongside an outstanding team
Just so you know what to expect: For this position, we offer a competitive overpayment based on qualification and experience. Annual gross salary starts at € 55.000 full-time. At Tractive, that means a 4-day work week with a 3-day weekend. If you bring relevant experience in many of the fields of responsibility, the salary will be considerably higher.
