We are looking for a System Engineer (Senior Technology Operations Analyst) to join our On Premise Team in Graz / Austria / DACH area. This is an amazing opportunity to work on (Unycom Intellectual Property Software). The team consists of five people and is reporting to the Technology Operations Manager.
We have a great skill set in installing our software and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in installing and software (Linux and Windows).

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• You have completed a degree in (business) informatics or comparable education or experience.
  
• You gained detailed knowledge of Windows and Linux systems with Oracle databases, SQL, PL/SQL, scripting languages, Java, and application and web servers (Tomcat, Apache)
  
• An analytical and pragmatic way of thinking characterizes you.
  
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
  

It would be great if you also had . . .

• You have several years of experience installing software systems in various environments and operating them, including commissioning and monitoring server systems.
  
• You can answer technical support requests and help internal and external customers find solutions to their problems.
  
• An analytical and pragmatic way of thinking characterizes you
  
• You are familiar with Dev Ops or agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  
• You have gained experience in an international working environment and understand the requirements of the different areas within an IT organization.
  
• Knowledge of the Intellectual Property sector
  

What will you be doing in this role?
As a System Engineer, you ensure that the Unycom software is installed and operated on our clients’ on-premises systems. Thanks to your technical knowledge, you, together with other experts, can provide your customers with competent advice on the solutions you support. This ranges from infrastructure and security to service integration and web technologies.

You will be working in installations and maintenance of Unycom Software.

Hours of Work
This is a full- time, permanent contract. Daily starting at 8:30 (GMT+2) to 17:00 (flextime).
