TEST MANAGER (w/m/d)
In your role as a Test Manager at Hitachi Rail you will coordinate national and international teams in Software and Hardware Test Design, Execution and Automation.

YOUR CHALLENGE
  • Preparation and release of test documentation
  • Performance of integration and system tests (manual and automated)
  • Coordinating the test team consisting of around 2-5 team members
  • Verification of results and generation of test reports
  • Definition and execution of test project plan (scope, timelines, efforts, costs, dependencies, …) in strong cooperation with the project management
  • Close team work with software development, quality assurance and operations
  • Communicate status and critical issues clearly in a short and concise format
  • Manage issues and risks, create mitigation plans and escalate to appropriate stakeholders as necessary
YOUR PROFILE
  • You have a technical degree (HTL/TU/FH) in Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • A minimum of 5 years proven working experience in Test and (technical) Team Management
  • Experience in leading a team and driving variety of stakeholders, eliminating non-value-added activities and blockers, and also finding creative but structured ways to accelerate test progress
  • ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certification is an advantage
  • Experience with CENELEC standards is a plus
  • Competitive mindset, strong desire to “win” paired with a great team spirit
  • Excellent communication in English language, German language beneficial

  • The salary for this position starts at € 70.000 gross p.a. Actual compensation is based on experience and qualification.
