Job Title: Desktop Support Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and solution-oriented Desktop Support Technician to provide comprehensive, hands-on IT support to our employees. The ideal candidate will address IT-related concerns, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions while maintaining our IT infrastructure's health and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to client support requests promptly.
  • Communicate with clients to determine the nature of the problem.
  • Travel to clients' locations as needed.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Install and maintain computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Install and upgrade operating systems and software applications.
  • Resolve networking and connectivity issues.
  • Advise clients on software and hardware upgrades.
  • Provide basic training on computer operations and management.
  • Complete job reports and manage supply orders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or Support Technician.
  • Certifications such as Comp TIA A+, MCP, MCSE, or OEM are desirable.
  • Proficiency with popular operating systems and software applications, including Windows, Mac, Office 365, MS Outlook, and UW.
  • Strong understanding of IT principles, including networks, hardware, and domains.
  • Experience supporting devices like printers and meeting room equipment.
  • Familiarity with virtual MDM and VPN environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.
