An exciting fintech startup based in Bahrain, serving the GCC market, is seeking a
detail-oriented Business Analyst to analyze, document, and translate business requirements, effectively bridging the gap between stakeholders and the development team. This role is key to ensuring product delivery meets both business goals and user needs (Bahrainis only)
Key Responsibilities:
● Requirements Gathering: Collect and analyze business requirements, turning them into
actionable insights for the development team.
● Functional Specifications: Create detailed functional specifications to guide product
development.
● Business Process Modeling: Map and model business processes to improve
operational efficiencies and identify opportunities for automation.
● Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct analysis to stay informed on market trends
and competitive offerings.
● Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear and continuous communication with
stakeholders to align on requirements and expectations.
● System Requirements Documentation: Document system requirements, including
user stories and acceptance criteria.
● Data Analysis: Analyze data to uncover insights that can inform product decisions.
● Product Strategy Support: Assist in shaping product strategy by providing relevant
research and data.
● Trend Monitoring: Keep up with industry trends, particularly regulations impacting
fintech.
● Roadmap Planning Support: Collaborate in product roadmap planning to ensure
feature prioritization aligns with business goals.
● Feature Validation: Validate that feature implementations meet business requirements
and add value.
Required Skills
● Experience: 3+ years of experience in business analysis, ideally within fintech or
payments.
● Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.● Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Proficient in gathering, analyzing, and
documenting requirements.
● Process Modeling: Knowledgeable in modeling business processes and workflows.
● Data Analysis: Experience in data analysis and visualization.
● Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
● Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile methodology for efficient project delivery.
● Stakeholder Management: Experience managing multiple stakeholders and their
expectations.
● Technical Documentation: Ability to produce clear and comprehensive technical
documentation.
Desired Skills
● SQL and Data Analysis Tools: Basic knowledge of SQL and familiarity with data
visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
● Project Management: Basic project management skills to support cross-functional
initiatives.
● UX/UI Understanding: Awareness of UX/UI principles to ensure user-centered product
