Job Role:
Information Technology Specialist is responsible for providing first level support to end users on IT related support requests. This role must demonstrate superior communication and organizational skills to respond to diverse and sometimes urgent needs. An Information Technology Specialist will work closely with other technical resources and Management to ensure timely resolution or escalation of incoming service issues. An Information Technology Specialist must be able to understand technical issues related 1o Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems, backup devices and software, workstation and server hardware, printers & scanner, access control/fingerprint devices, and clearly communicate the problem in both verbal and written forms.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical services and support for the following areas:
  • Microsoft and non-Microsoft onsite support.
  • Microsoft related technologies: Windows 11, Microsoft 365 Apps (Desktop-Web-Mobile) Office 365, Visio, MS Teams.
  • Advanced working knowledge in supporting MAC OS.
  • Advanced working knowledge of i0S & Android smart devices.
  • Advanced working knowledge of desktop software such as all Microsoft Office Suites, Adobe, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of Bio Time - Suprema Access Control and Time & Attendance System
  • Basic working knowledge of Active Directory 2022/Azure AD, DHCP, DNS.
  • Basic working knowledge of Windows server 2019/2022.
  • Basic working knowledge of Virtualization technologies: Microsoft Azure, AWS
  • Basic working knowledge of AWS EC2 Instances, Security Groups, S3 Storage, Storage Gateway.
  • Basic working knowledge of Network WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi connectivity, Cisco routers & Switches, Cisco SDA,. Cortex Antivirus, Qualys Cloud Platform.
  • Basic working knowledge of IP Cloud Telephony integrated with Teams.
  • Basic network troubleshooting.
2. Work with (50) end users to resolve and troubleshoot desktop hardware, desktop applications, mobile devices, laptops, printers, scanners, IP phones and connectivity issues.
3. Manage your daily ticket queues and schedule to ensure all assigned tickets are resolved.
4. Active participation in all on going and upcoming IT projects. Providing technical support, documents & reports and feed backs for the IT projects.
5. Providing the full support in HQ and branches.
6. Taking ownership of user’s issues reported and seeing problems through 1o resolution. Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve system issues.
7. Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
8. Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
9. Follow up with clients 1o ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting, Report any security issues to the concerned staff.
10. Manage IT Asset. Resolve basic issues related to IT infrastructure & Network.
Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field from an accredited institution.
  • 7+ years, experience in experience in support desk.
  • Experience in end-user support, applications, Hardware and networking as stated above in “Required Advanced Technical Proficiencies and Duties”.
  • Effective communication skills are required.
  • Holder of Microsoft Certification (MCSA, MCITP / MCTS), CONA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified.
