MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pay: BD400.000 - BD500.000 per month
- Ensure Smooth and timely freight process flow.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
- Maintain proper filing and scan into our operating system.
- Track and trace shipments until shipment arrival to destination.
- Make sure the shipments tracking sheet is updated and sent to every client on daily basis.
- Quote clients within 24 hours. If no response from origin, pick up the phone and call.
- Maintain customer signed quotations, credit applications, and SOPs on file and in G Drive.
- Prior to moving any shipment, double check shipping terms like L/C, payment and credit facility.
- Prior to moving any shipment, cross-check compliances with import/export regulations based on commodity, business activities and commercial registration details of the clients.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers.
- Ensure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs purposes.
- Ensure accurate and timely client and service provider billing.
- Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures and external government regulations customer’s policies/requirements.
- Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated in the SOP.
- Meet KPI standards, as per the company’s procedures.
- Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external).
- Follow the instructions of his direct supervisor and assist his colleagues whenever required.
Pay: BD400.000 - BD500.000 per month
