Head of Litigation and Operations

Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with litigators, project administrators and stakeholders to develop & refine litigation strategies.
- Provide guidance on the development of project plans for litigation.
- Gathering evidence to formulate defense or initiate legal actions.
- Advise, interpret the laws, share legal opinions to individual clients, corporate entities and internal stakeholders on all types of litigation matters in the region including commercial, criminal, employment, inheritance, real estate, construction and investments.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as legal notices, claim statements, appeals, court memorandums, wills, deeds, POAs, and other litigation related documents.
- Drafting and reviewing submission for the arbitration cases.
- Manage legal matters for large retained business groups.
- Oversee management of multiple cases along with deadlines.
- Undertake final review of legal documents such as legal notices, claim statements, court memorandums, wills, deeds and other documents.
- Overseeing and communicating effectively with a team.
- Provide professional advise and guidance to the team on litigation matters.
- Ensure the implementation of the firms existing policies and guidance for litigation, revising or developing new standards where appropriate.
- Support with building business and on-boarding new clients.
- Draft articles & publications.
- Prepare reports as requested by the management.
- 15+ years of experience in the legal field in Bahrain, with a strong background in managing disputes, litigation and arbitration.
- Minimum of Masters in Law.
- Must have experience in Bahrain litigation processes and courts.
- Bilingual (Arabic & English) written and communication skills.
- Good relationship management skills.
Pay: From BD1,000.000 per month
Education:
- Bachelor's (Required)
- Law: 10 years (Preferred)
