To support the CRO business unit, Poulpharm is looking for an animal caretaker for our sites in Izegem, Aalter, and Heestert.

• You are, provided with the necessary training, capable of practically executing a trial.
• You meticulously care for the animals (poultry) in relation to research in a quality environment.
• You recognize diseases and problems in the animals.
• You are responsible for monitoring the housing and hygiene status of the animals.
• You contribute to accurately entering and maintaining the generated data during the research.
• You will be part of an enthusiastic and dynamic team where a sense of responsibility is a key asset.

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in agro- and biotechnology with a specialization in animal care or equivalent through experience.
• Possession of a FELASA certificate B is a plus.
• You possess a driver’s license to commute between different sites.
• You work on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 8 hours each day.
• You are administratively meticulous.

You work a 32-hour week according to a fixed schedule with 8 hours each on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Vacation time is flexible and chosen in consultation with colleagues. We do not have collective closures within the company.
