Your role

• You will be SPOC for several international geographical regions (worldwide). You keep in touch with our existing customers and get to know their needs and business processes.
• You will visit our customers and follow up their projects, with the objective of proposing tailor-made solutions, negotiating and concluding sales contracts.
• A significant part of your time will be spent prospecting and working on new markets abroad.
• You work with our local agents to gather information and analyse movements in the textile market.
• You will be in close contact with various internal departments within Vandewiele (R&D, planning, customer service, ...) and you will report directly to the commercial management.

Your profile

• You have a technical background and hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Sciences or equivalent through experience.
• Frequent travels to prospects, customers and trade fairs worldwide attract you (20-30% of the time).
• You combine an affinity for engineering and mechanical engineering with commercial talent. Knowledge of the textile sector is an advantage, but not a must.
• You have a direct approach and strong perseverance.
• You like making contacts and dealing with different cultures.
• You are communicative and can express yourself fluently in both Dutch and English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
