Assistant Revenue Manager

AQUINOS Bedding is the result of the acquisition in March 2022 of the former Recticel Bedding division by the AQUINOS Industry SGPS group. AQUINOS is a leading European manufacturer in branded and non-branded bedding and upholstery products.
Our group is Portugal-based, employing over 5000 employees, spread over 20 manufacturing plants across Europe. As AQUINOS Bedding we commercialize our products under well-known brand names with strong local heritage, such as BEKA, Lattoflex, Swissflex, Schlaraffia, Sembella and Superba In Belgium (Hulshout and Geraardsbergen), the company produces mattresses and slat bases and employs around 200 people.
Aquinos Bedding is looking for an Assistant Revenue Manager
Reporting to the Bedding Division Revenue Manager, working in a team environment with Controlling, , SCM/OP and Procurement. You will support, together with the Revenue Manager, regional General Managers on profitability & continuous improvement within their respective sites. Experience in organizational changes. Expertise spanning strategic planning, process improvement and technology integration.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare clear return and profitability methods in the ERP parameterization process (cost std), Contribution Margin, Contribution to EBITDA.
- Manage brand value and independently create full P&L from the manufacturing site.
- Familiarity with transfer pricing rules, processes, and methodologies.
- Create strategic plans, both bottom-up and top-down, in partnership with consulting companies.
- Remodel and restructure business operations under the main top management goals and business drives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive transformation strategies to drive organizational change, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Utilize methodologies such as FP&A, Discount Cash Flow, Price Management.
- Contribute to the execution of cross-functional transformation initiatives, fostering collaboration and ensuring accountability across departments.
- Collaborate to design and execute the change management process.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success of transformation efforts and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation within the organization, encouraging creative problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Advocate for sustainable practices within transformation projects, ensuring initiatives contribute to long-term environmental and social goals.
Education
Degree in Business Administration, Management or related disciplines.
Change Management
The role requires a nuanced ability to communicate and collaborate across departments, fostering an environment of openness and adaptability for the successful adoption of transformative initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
Communication and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders are critical for aligning transformation goals across the organization. By actively listening, addressing concerns, and fostering trust and transparency, smoother transitions and the necessary support for successful change initiatives are achieved.

Collaborating to create long-term visions and actionable roadmaps is crucial. It involves aligning organizational goals with market trends and internal capabilities to drive growth and innovation. Anticipating future challenges and opportunities is necessary for facilitating agile responses and strategic pivots that maintain competitive advantage and operational excellence.
Corporate Governance
Aligning transformation initiatives with broader business objectives and compliance requirements is a delicate balance. It involves effective decision-making and policy development to liaise between various stakeholders, including the board of directors, ensuring transparency and accountability in organizational change pursuits.
Capability assessment
Assess the availability and readiness of resources within the organization. By identifying capability gaps upfront, it is possible to prioritize investments to close these gaps.
Agile ways of working
Incorporate agile ways of working to accelerate transformations. Promote experimentation and learning and embed it in execution and company culture.
Practical
- Location: Office Location Geraardsbergen & after onboarding period possibility of weeks with 100% work from home, in coordination with your direct supervisor.
- Travel-load: Opportunity to travel several times a year to the corporate headquarters in Portugal.
