· Professional experience in accounting, including accounting in General Ledger and Accounts Payable
· Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of International Public sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), or equivalent accounting standards
· A valid professional, officially recognized, accounting certification; Possess a university degree in any of the following domains: purchasing, supply, economics, or engineering or equivalent
· Possess the following minimum levels of NATO’s official languages (English/French): V (“Advanced”) in one and II (“Elementary”) in the other
· 5+ years of financial management experience including at least 2 years of experience in management of project funds, preferably, in services, non-manufacturing, or public sectors
· Advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point
· Experience in the use of ERP systems such as Oracle E-Business Suite

DUTIES/ROLE:
· Establish an integrated planning, development, programme implementation approach and maintenance of civil budget and trust fund management tools
· Application of best practices and international project management standards for civil budget and trust fund/review reporting
· Provide regular updates to the Head, Resources and Portfolio Management Team, CAP Team Leader, OPS Division senior management and relevant committees on Trust Fund Finances
· Assist, in close cooperation with the Risk Management and M&E Officer, in the development and implementation of the necessary processes to ensure adequate financial monitoring and evaluation
· Support the Head, Resources and Portfolio Management Team and CAP Team Leader with finding timely and creative solutions to problems, meeting client and organizational needs
· Ensure maintenance of proper project and financial documentation in accordance with NATO information management guidance
· Liaise and coordinate with numerous project partners, both within NATO (Delegations, International Military Staff (IMS), International Staff (IS) Divisions) and with external stakeholders such as other international organisations and NGOs
