As a 2nd chef at P&O Ferries, you will be on board for 2 weeks, contributing to an unforgettable 'Passenger Experience', and then enjoy your well-deserved leave for the next 2 weeks.
During the period that you are on board, you will be responsible for the food of the crew and the passengers/drivers, meeting the commercial, financial and quality objectives. You ensure that there is sufficient stock and that production and presentation meet the highest standards.
For now we are looking for a Second cook (self-employed cook) at the Norbank. You will have an independent role here. You will also have a rotating role with the Pride of Rotterdam, where you can grow further to Sous chef and/or Head Chef.

· Assists in the day-to-day management of food storage and in production and presentation activities;
· Assists in requesting and checking all food, goods and equipment used in the production of food;
· Are responsible for minimizing waste;
· Assists with all food and equipment control systems and report preparation;
· Assists in providing necessary training to Kitchen Porters;
· Delivers the highest standards of people management and customer satisfaction;
· Sees commercial opportunities and responds to them.
Job requirements
