Civil Site Supervisor (Offshore Wind)

You will be part of the Operations & Maintenance team working on all wind farms managed by Parkwind. Within the team your main responsibility is to coordinate and supervise offshore works executed by contractors. The civil assets already consist of 205 foundations, steel transition parts, and over 200 km high voltage submarine cables and will continue to grow.

You will be part of the Operations & Maintenance team working on all wind farms managed by Parkwind. Within the team your main responsibility is to coordinate and supervise offshore works executed by contractors. The civil assets already consist of 205 foundations, steel transition parts, and over 200 km high voltage submarine cables and will continue to grow.
Your role:
- Coordination and supervision of offshore works ensuring safety and quality in close collaboration with the Civil Asset Management Engineers;
- Organize logistics and ensure availability of parts and materials – including purchase;
- Logistical Organization of yearly maintenance campaigns;
- Offshore activities such as inspections, supervision of maintenance,…;
- Act as the Parkwind representative towards contractors during offshore works;
- Be the Parkwind “eyes and ears” in the field;
- Support the Civil Asset Management Engineer with hands on advice (fe: design of new parts, choice of materials, review of project execution documentation…);
- Reporting on offshore activities;
- You will report to the Operations and Maintenance Civil Manager
What we expect:
- You obtained a Bachelor in engineering – or equivalent by experience;
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a related industry (steel industry, marine environment, major construction);
- You are passionate by renewable energy and enjoy working in a maritime environment;
- Experience in the management of subcontractors (preferably in a maritime environment) and/or experience with vessels and offshore works will be considered as an advantage;
- You are fluent in English (both written and spoken), knowledge of Dutch is a plus;
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills adapted to an international environment;
- You possess a thorough technical background combined with hands on practical skills;
- You have an adventurous mindset and a flexible attitude;
- You are open to work regularly offshore and occasional travel abroad to support projects in the Jera Nex group.
