Job Summary:

• Support digital innovation within the DYMO consumables manufacturing plant.
• Extend and support existing digital platforms.
• Setup and execute proof-of-concepts; support roll-out of successful proof-of-concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Setup and execute proof-of-concepts.
• Support roll-out of successful proof-of-concepts:
  • Cooperate with IT & other departments to implement proof-of-concepts;
  • Train end-users;
  • Support end-users.
• Develop and maintain:
  • Machine logging setups;
  • The MES (Manufacturing Execution System);
  • Data repository in support of BI tools;
  • Custom developed data gathering solutions;
  • Machine Learning solutions.
• Safety / ISO / Environment
  • Complies with.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor/master in electro-mechanics, automation, applied informatics or similar.
• Passionate about new digital technologies, industry 4.0 and IIOT trends.
• Experienced in MS SQL.
• Knowledge about PLC (Beckhoff) is an asset.
• Knowledge with C# and Python is an asset.
• Knowledge with cloud-based platforms (Azure) is an asset.
• High proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
• Fluent in English and Dutch, oral and written.

Skills and Competences

• Strong interest in manufacturing automation and optimisation.
• Eager to learn, curious.
• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills and creative problem solving skills.
• Available for travelling for short periods when required.
