Within the Compressor Technique business area, dryer media is one of the growing core product branches in the air & gas treatment portfolio. The Airtec division invests intensively in expanding the product team and upscaling the production capacity and available competences.

Our mission focuses on the successful launch of new dryer media products and processes, facilitating both thorough R&D on material and application level as the translation towards commercially viable end products and field support services. We build strong customer relations founded on guaranteed quality, delivery reliability and open communication. These are crucial pillars to diversify our roadmap activities and identify new product applications.

As dryer media QRM supply chain engineer, you take the lead in strategic scouting projects to identify new suppliers or raw materials while striving for continuous improvement in our supply chain and reductions in cost and lead time by applying QRM principles. You nurture fruitful supplier relations in your international network and you report on delivery and quality performance, with sustainability as a decisive factor in your decision-making process. Furthermore, you actively collaborate in product development projects as a member of the project team, broadening your product knowledge and preparing the supply chain with all logistic partners such that new end products can be introduced on the production line. Consecutively, you support production continuity in alignment with the operators of our self-steering team with effective inventory management, continuous monitoring of our lead times and transparent communication to our internal customers situated within several divisions of the Atlas Copco Group. Finally, you are encouraged to revise framework agreements with contracted parties and to engage in commercial negotiations concerning new asset investments.

Preliminary knowledge
You have a degree in engineering or applied economics, or equivalent because of previous experience in a technical-commercial or logistic work environment. You are fluent in Dutch and English. You are proficient in MS Office, Power Bi and the common ERP platforms within Atlas Copco (BPCS, Be2Net, SAP) and you display an interest to delve into the development and usage of Power Apps. Passionate with technology and innovation, you refine your dryer media product knowledge and the functionality of the different components through training-on-the-job. Affinity with QRM or another entrepreneurial philosophy enhances your candidacy.
